WHO WE ARE?

The Mozambican Association of Safari Operators (AMOS) was created in 2010 and is a national entity composed of hunting safari operators and professional hunters registered and authorized to conduct hunting safaris in Mozambique. The association is a member of the Association of Professional Hunters and Guides of Africa (OPHHA). For information visit the links : OPHAA

The country currently has just over 56 Safari Operators, who carry out hunting tourism in the Official Hunting Grounds (Coutadas Oficiais), Niassa Reserve Hunting Blocks, Game Farms and the Tchuma Tchatu and Chipanje Chetu Community Programmes.

These operators work hard to conserve biodiversity and develop the association in Mozambique.
