Mission

AMOS supports the conservation and ecologically sustainable development and use of natural resources, for the benefit of current and future generations, through the promotion of sustainable and responsible hunting.

Ensure adherence to the Code of Conduct, work to improve wildlife management and land use through scientific research;

Develop companionship and cooperation among hunters.

Goals

Promote the sustainable use of wildlife for conservation and educate the public about the benefits of responsible hunting for conservation, sustainable socio-economic development, and contributions to the State’s tax revenue system. Promote, regulate, and enforce professional standards in the safari hunting industry;

Promote and facilitate training for all Mozambicans who wish to pursue a career in hunting, conservation, and related activities; and cooperate with the national and provincial governments of the Republic of Mozambique and other countries on all matters affecting hunting, conservation, and related activities;
